Lupine powder 48% organic chocolate bar

This bars is our only semi-dark bar and it is very unique. It contains lupine bean powder to replace the milk that is normally used in the making of semi-dark bars. Lupine beans, or “chochos”; (as commonly known in  Ecuador), are legumes that are cultivated in the Andes and are ubiquitous in Ecuadorian cuisine. Chochos have a  high content of protein, even higher than soy! We use very little sugar in this bar, therefore this combination results in a chocolate bar that we commonly refer to as our superfood bar! Chocho is largely used in soil regeneration or in between crops in the Andes, so not only this bar is great for your health, but also for the health of the soil where it grows!
